The Golfing Machine Education Program is divided into three degrees with advancing difficulty. The second degree is the GSEM or Masters degree. The GSEM builds upon the knowledge gained in the GSEB Level I & Level II courses to further advance your understanding of The Golfing Machine principles and their integration into your day-to-day teaching environment.
In this course you will develop an understanding of the Hitting and Swinging curriculum. You will also learn to identify the Hitting and Swinging components and their geometric relationship to one another. This ability will be key in assessing your student's golf stroke, using the geometric alignment, that help students define their “feel”.
In our cooperative learning environment, you will work with the other students using in-class exercises and the latest video analysis technology to advance your application of The Golfing Machine concepts in a real-world setting. This is a five-day school consisting of 40 hours of class and range time, 50 % classroom/ 50% demonstration on the lesson tee.
Because the focus of this course is on “How to Teach”; as compared to learning “What To Teach”, Authorized Instructors are not eligible to take this class for one year following the anniversary of their successful completion of the GSEB Level II course. In addition, there are several other pre-requisites for this course:
- completion and passing of the GSEB Level II course
- be an Authorized Instructor in good standing**
Successfully completing the GSEM course includes the following:
- passing a written test
- completion of a written essay
- video analysis in which you accurately identify the 24 components of the golf stroke, using three different subjects.
PGA members receive 20 MSR credits for completing this course.
Tuition for GSEM is $1,795.00 (USD)
